Fulltime Nanny Required Central Cambridge

A professional family in CB1 requires a nanny for their three children aged 9, 5 and 3 years old.

As the nanny you would be required to work on a two weekly rota, 42 hours one week and 35 hours the following week.

You must be a driver with your own car and have a full UK driving licence.

School runs and providing the children with healthy nutritious meals is essential.

Additional responsibilities will be to ensure that the children’s bedrooms are tidy and all correspondence from the school is passed on to the parents.

Light housework duties will be required including laundry.

Some overnights will be required as both parents are doctors and will require cover when they are on call.

Salary: £8-£8.50 per hour

12 Hour Paediatric First Aid – 13/20 October

This course is offered to all childcare professionals including Nursery Nurses, Nannies, Childminders and Parents.
• Childminders who need to renew their first aid qualification
• Nannies registering on the voluntary part of the childcare register

Baby and Child First Aid (2 day course). Ofsted approved First aid course specialising in dealing with an injured child. The course covers the common day to day grazes and bumps to choking and resuscitation, practiced on infant size manikins. This course is aimed at giving attendees the confidence to tackle a wide range of emergency situations without being confused by convoluted methods and technical jargon.

Course Content:
Delegates will receive training in a range of First Aid subjects, including:

Incident Management, Unconscious Casualty, Resuscitation, Choking, Asthma, Bleeding & Shock Management, Epilepsy and Convulsions, Head Injuries, Fractures, Drowning, Sickness, Diarrhoea and Vomiting, Heat Exhaustion, Poisoning, Sickle Cell, Meningitis, Respiratory Infections, Bites, Eye Injuries, Burns and Scalds, Soft tissue injuries, Anaphylactic Shock.

Course Outcome:
On completion of the course all successful candidates will receive a recognised first aid certificate meeting the full requirements of the Health & Safety Act (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and Approved by Surestart/Ofsted. Valid for 3 years.

Manager of Pre-School and Out of School Club Required

A village preschool and out of school club is looking to recruit a manager. You would be working closely with a small team of staff and be responsible for -

Overseeing the day to day running of the setting
Successful implementation of the EYFS

Our Client is looking for a room leader to join their team in the 0-2 setting. Could it be you? Read on….

This well established Montessori Nursery is one of two; babies and toddlers are in one setting and 2-7yr olds are in the other. The Nurseries are located 5 mins apart.

The rooms in each setting have been carefully designed to create a secure and stimulating environment for children and they are organised by age groups so that the rooms, toys, equipment , food and routines are age appropriate.

One of the Nursery’s strengths is their relationship with parents ensuring the ability to work in partnership for the greater good of the children.

You must have a minimum NVQ LVL 3 in Early Years with a minimum of 2 yrs Early Years experience, at least one of which should be supervisory. You must have experience of working with babies. You must have a sound knowledge of the EYFS and be able to work on a shift basis. An additional European language would be very advantageous due to the number of children attending from Europe.

Based in the grounds of a central Cambridge school, this Out of School and Holiday Club is lucky to have the use of a large main hall and a smaller community room as well as it’s own kitchen facilities and use of the schools vast outside play area.The large hall allows for energetic games such as football, volleyball, basketball etc when the outside play area is not accessible due to light or bad weather, as well as for more table top based activities.

A nursery set in a beautiful location are recruiting a level 3 (or equivalent) Nursery practitioner to work within their nursery with extensive grounds which provide an excellent opportunity to enhance the children’s learning. The nursery is set within a spacious converted farm building.
